SMASH International Group was established in 2023 as a specialist firm dedicated to addressing these challenges. Under their motto 'Bringing Trust and Confidence to Global Society,' our certified public accountants—with extensive international business experience and professional expertise in the UK—support both British and Japanese companies in conducting business with confidence through reliable financial reporting and robust business frameworks.

Through their membership with the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan, SMASH are committed to building trusted relationships with UK businesses and serving as a bridge for UK-Japan economic cooperation.

SMASH Group has been providing services for more than 45 years with the support of many people, mainly in the fields of accounting, tax, management, labour relations and real estate. In order to meet the ever-increasing expectations of the global society, SMASH International Audit Corporation and SMASH International Advisory LLC have been established to provide full-fledged international services by members from major auditing firms (Big 4) with extensive experience working overseas, in order to solve all issues that exist in the global society and to provide trust and security to the global society.

 

  • Why did you join the BCCJ?

    'Actually, I used to live and work in UK and one of our colleagues (managing partner) currently resides in UK. From this experience, we became very interested in the UK as well as British society & business. We have been serving UK clients (in-bound) for a few years now and realised this was a good moment to join BCCJ.'

     

  • What do you most hope to gain from your time as a member?

    'We are keen to connect with members across the BCCJ community and to support businesses facing accounting and financial complexities as they expand or operate across borders.'

     

  • What makes your organisation unique in your industry or market?

    'We specialise in audit services as independent auditors, as well as advisory support in internal controls and governance, particularly for foreign-affiliated companies based in Japan. Our team brings many years of experience working not only in the UK, but also across Europe.'
